Title: Future of Identity in the Information Society

Abstract:
This project introduced an approach to the general term of identity from different sectors, including technology, economy, law and sociology. Technologies such as RFIDs, biometric systems as well as various trust, confidentiality, privacy and security mechanisms were studied, analyses and evaluated. Moreover, new trends related to identity such as virtual identity, e-governance and location-based services were surveyed upon and expanded through their technoeconomical, social and legal analysis. Particular emphasis was given on the analysis of security and privacy within e-health.
